Mom, (otherwise known as Mary Lou ) who loves “numbers” wears the CFO hat.
“When Paula Jean called that day in November 2017 and said, “Mom” there is this most special storefront on the Guilford Green available…we could do a PopUp Shop”…I didn’t let her finish her words…I was in from the get go! This was the ideal location and idea to showcase our businesses. Little did I think that I would become a partner full-time back in the retail biz I had been in many years ago. What a blessing and joy to be in business with my daughter (and yes, our husbands are our best creative in-house vendors).

I stay mainly in the creative end, as the Creative Director & Designer of our precious coastal boutique. Along with being the “Mussel Shell Maker” (its another story to be shared ).
I also created part of the “Paper” theme of the shop name.
“If you had told me that I would be a retail shop owner with a workroom to create and play each day I would have said to you…NO WAY! Not this girl. I am blessed to have transitioned my career from the corp world to the creative world. And I get to do that in my hometown, in the absolutely best location.”
I call Guilford CT home, it’s where my husband Kenny and I have raised our three kiddos. But its the coast of Maine that has stolen my heart.
